The Haunted City in Aklan
Aklan is well known for it's colorful Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo which is known worldwide.
A short distance away is the City of New Washington.
This is where I did an ghost investigation on some of their haunted houses.

The haunted abandoned house at the crossing.
Every time vehicles passes this abandoned building, they honk their horns. It is a way of warding off the evil spirits that supposedly haunts this place. There are numerous reports of seeing black shadows inside the building and someone or something crossing the street at night. This is also the scene of various unexplained accidents on the road.
The house no one wants to live in.
People I spoke with says this is the most haunted house in the area. The owner tried renting it at a very cheap price. Renters would last a week and leave to vacate the house because of a lot of paranormal activity inside the house. Now, no one would even consider living there even for free.
